Fuxxx said she would be interested in exploring more niche porn genres, such as “foot stuff” and “pegging.”
After being passed up for several unique and challenging roles, porn actress Fiona Fuxxx reportedly expressed concern to her agent that she may be typecast for the remainder of her career in adult entertainment.
“I always do well in auditions, but I think directors still just see me as Melissa the Lusty Stepmom,” said Fuxxx, referring to her breakout role in the 2006 video American Creampie, for which she won an AVN award for best female lead in an anal scene. “It was certainly a blessing to be able to perform in that role, but I sometimes wonder if it was a curse as well.”
While Fuxxx has taken parts in hundreds of films since her breakout role, she said she often feels like she is playing the exact same character in each film.
“Ever since American Creampie, I’m always playing the same busty cougar on the prowl for some young cock, and nobody wants to cast me as anything else,” said Fuxxx, who has since starred in The Longest Hard-On, National Pleasure, and Ocean’s Thirteensome, scripts that all called for a “hot MILF.”
Fuxxx’s previous attempts to branch out have been met with mixed reactions from critics and audiences alike. The most recent of these attempts, the independent pornographic film Jiro Dreams of Booty, was a critical success but a commercial flop.
“It’s not like she doesn’t have acting chops,” said Hairy Weintraub, Fuxxx’s agent. “I remember when she starred in Locker Room Sluts II earlier in her career, she was so young and eager. She wasn’t just performing; she was a buxom cheerleader who wanted to take it in every hole.”
Despite a lack of success in unusual roles, Fuxxx hasn’t given up hope yet, she said. “I just need to keep doing auditions and putting myself out there,” said Fuxxx. “I’m not trying to be in the next Deep Throat or anything, but I’ll never feel respected as an actress if I keep doing these mainstream films like Assformers or Paul Blart: Mall Cock 2.”
