Friends of Rebecca Evans said they believe that the Venmo request Evans received from “occasional hookup” Jason Rennell confirms that Rennell is not interested in a sober, romantic relationship with Evans.
The Venmo request, received at 9:30 the next morning, reportedly read “NYPD pizza lol” followed by several pizza emojis. According to Evans’ friend Danielle Sommers, “the request really shows that he is not only unwilling to give up his thirsty Thursdays with his other hookup, but also that he won’t even buy her a fucking slice of Hawaiian pizza. Frankly, it’s a bit insulting.”
Sommers added, “But it’s probably for the best. He obviously doesn’t even realize that NYPD stands for New York Pizza Department. So the extra ‘pizza’ makes him look like an idiot. I think she’s better off.” “It’s not even that surprising,” continued Sommers. “She always has to call herself an Uber in the morning, because he apparently can’t drive her home like a decent person would.”
Evans and Rennell have been seeing each other since October after they first met in the line to get into Rick’s. “You could tell there was sexual tension right away,” remembered Sommers. “But sometimes physical attraction just isn’t enough when you’re still paying for your own drunk food and he’s not reciprocating oral sex.”
Rennell could not be reached forcomment, as he is out of contact between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
